A little while back Battlefront had a Late War sale to clear out old boxes ready for the new releases this summer. I’d planned a half track heavy Ghost Panzer list so thought it was an ideal time to get some cheap boxes of them. The only problem was that the older sprue doesn’t come with any of the shiny new options so I set about converting some bits.
It was a relatively easy conversion for the anti tank 7.5cm option. The only extra part you’ll need is a short barrel from the panzer III or IV sprue.
Take the regular half track anti tank gun and cut off the barrel. Cut a strip of the same size from the drivers roof. Glue the back of the gun into this gap and the short barrel on the front.
I’m pretty happy how it turned out and saved me a fair bit of money as well.
